ABOUT
We believe being a great dad isn’t about knowing all the answers—it’s about showing up.
It’s about learning new things, flipping old stereotypes on their heads, and proving that connection is built in the little moments—like brushing out tangles before school or mastering a wonky French braid on a sleepy Sunday morning.
Dad Braids started with a simple idea:
Help dads bond with their daughters through hair.
What began as one dad learning how to braid has grown into a full-blown movement—thousands of dads showing up for their kids, learning together, laughing through the struggles, and sharing the wins.
It’s not really about hair.
It’s about presence.
It’s about patience.
It’s about showing your daughter:
"You matter. I’m here. I’ve got you."
And yeah, it’s pretty awesome when someone says, “Wow, did your mom do your hair?”
And your daughter gets to say, “No. Dad braids.”
We’re building something special here.
A place where modern fatherhood gets to be hands-on, full-hearted, and a little messy in the best way.
Join the club. Grab a brush.
Let’s make fatherhood even better—one braid at a time.
